23 December – Christmas Begins
From 15:00 – Check-in and Welcome Mulled Wine
We welcome you with warm mulled wine by the fire.
From 18:00 – Dinner
The evening begins with a welcome drink before dinner.
A Cosy Pre-Christmas Evening
After dinner, the Christmas atmosphere continues in our traditional lounge. Help us decorate the Christmas tree, join our annual Christmas rhyme competition, play board games or settle in to watch BingoLotto.

Christmas Eve – Traditions at the Heart of the Day

12:00–13:30 – Christmas Eve Lunch
Traditional Swedish rice porridge and a Christmas ham sandwich
14:00 – Santa Arrives at Green Hotel
Santa will hand out Christmas presents to the children.
One present per child can be left at reception during the morning.
15:00 – Donald Duck and His Friends Wish You a Merry Christmas
Join us for one of Sweden’s most treasured Christmas Eve traditions.
16:30 – Mulled Wine by the Fire
From 17:00 – Green Hotel’s Classic Christmas Buffet
A traditional Swedish Christmas buffet featuring the familiar flavours of the season, carefully prepared from scratch in our own kitchen.
20:30 – The Christmas Gift Game
A festive gift game for the whole family, with an extra surprise from Green Hotel hidden among the presents.
If you would like to take part, please bring one wrapped gift worth approximately SEK 50 and leave it at reception during the day.
Christmas Day – Time Together
Christmas Morning Service at Leksand Church
For early risers, there is the option to book a bus to the traditional Christmas morning service at Leksand Church. Before departure, coffee, tea and freshly baked saffron buns will be served by the fire.
The bus is booked separately and places are limited. Advance registration is required.

Join us to discover more about the hotel’s art and history.

Afternoon Activities for All Ages
Children are invited to join a winter activity with hot chocolate, games and a treasure hunt.
For adults, there will be an opportunity to book a chocolate praline tasting accompanied by selected drinks.
15:00 – Christmas Film with Popcorn

26 December – Christmas Continues

Morning – Gingerbread House Competition and Winter Time
Challenge the family in our gingerbread house competition or head out and explore Tällberg. Traditional kick sleds and sledges are available to borrow when weather conditions allow.
Advance registration is required for the gingerbread house competition.
12:00–13:30 – Lunch
Afternoon – Christmas Baking and Festive Moments
At selected times, we open our traditional bakery cottage for bookable Christmas baking or Christmas sweet-making sessions.
Advance registration is required.
For those who prefer a slower afternoon, there will also be a Christmas film with popcorn, games and plenty of space to relax in our lounges.
