Cross-country skiing in Dalarna

Dalarna is one of Sweden’s most renowned regions for cross-country skiing, offering an extensive network of groomed trails in varied terrain. In the Siljan area, including locations around Tällberg, Rättvik and Leksand, cross-country skiing is suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers. The trails are regularly maintained throughout the winter season and are adapted for both classic and skate skiing. Cross-country skiing is deeply rooted in Dalarnas cultural heritage. Approximately one hour by car from Tällberg lies Lugnet in Falun, one of Sweden’s most important Nordic skiing venues.
