At Green Hotel, it’s always wedding season. Perched high in the village of Tällberg, our hotel offers a magical setting to say “I do” – bubbles on a sunlit terrace or warming drinks by torchlight. We create weddings that are personal, memorable, and truly magical, in any season.
Book a visit in person or digitally. Once you choose Green Hotel, we provide a quote via our online portal, where you can submit wishes, get tips on food, drinks, and activities, track pricing, and ask questions directly in chat.
To secure your preferred date, venue, and vendors, we recommend booking 9–18 months in advance, especially for summer or winter weddings. Early booking allows you to customize every detail, from food and drinks to decorations and accommodations. We also help coordinate local suppliers such as florists, photographers, and musicians, ensuring a stress-free day.
Vows can be exchanged on the lawn, terrace overlooking Lake Siljan, in a salon, or by the fire at the Slogboden. For church ceremonies, Rättviks and Leksands Churches are only 15 minutes away.
Green Hotel offers 100 rooms for approximately 180 guests, including suites, family rooms, doubles, and singles, many with lake views and amenities such as sauna, fireplace, or bathtub.
The wedding dinner is often the heart of the celebration, and at Green Hotel we offer several dining halls suitable for both small and large gatherings. Maria Hall accommodates 44 guests, Dala Hall 72 guests, and together with Maria Hall there is space for up to 116 guests. For a smaller, more intimate wedding, Picasso Hall seats 30 guests at round tables and is adorned with original Picasso artworks, creating a personal and cozy atmosphere. All tables are set with white linens, cloth napkins, and candles, and you are warmly welcome to add your own personal touches with flowers and decorations.
The evening then continues in our event venues. Greenverket offers a stage, lighting, sound, bar, and projector for a lively celebration, while the Gillet, also called Dans på Glas, features a lounge, bar, and a spectacular glass dance floor over the pool, accommodating up to 200 guests. During the pool area renovation in 2025–2026, Porfyren and other indoor hotel venues are available as alternatives.
From September 2025 until summer 2026, we are renovating and expanding our pool area and the Gillestugan, which will reopen with celebration. During this period, parts of Gillestugan and the pool area are closed.
