Djurheden Railway and Garden

Welcome to a true hidden gem – Djurheden Railway and Garden.
What once started as a small train beneath a Christmas tree has grown into an impressive garden railway and a magical miniature world covering more than 220 square metres.

Here you will find ponds, bridges, tracks, trains, houses, flowers and countless charming details. Along the railway, different landscapes have been created using around 350 figures and animals. Some are relaxing in the sun, others are working, hunting or cutting down trees – there is always something new to discover.

Well-known characters such as Tintin and Captain Haddock, Pettson and Findus, Bamse, the Smurfs and the Moomins can be spotted along the track. For younger visitors, there is also a fun figure-search activity, making the visit even more engaging for children.

A garden in full bloom

Surrounding the railway is a beautiful garden with more than 450 different perennial plants. Most of them have been grown from seed by the owners themselves. The garden has been developed over more than 15 years and reflects a deep passion for gardening and creativity.
