Here you will find everything relating to conferences, seminars and meetings. We offer large spaces, fantastic food and a stimulating environment, as well as conference staff hostesses who are always at your service and can provide technical assistance during discussions and presentations.
Our new big space 'Greenverket' offers unique possibilities for launching products, thoughts and ideas. The breathtaking views over Lake Siljan are included in the price as well as our experience in handling large and small conferences - and the high expectations that go with them.
The Greenverket and Conference wing
The Greenverket, a construction by cathedral architect Rolf Bergh, has plenty of space for large conferences, concerts and exhibitions. It also has room for the Börjeson art collection, which can be exhibited to groups as agreed. Prices can be obtained upon request. The collection is open to the public most Saturdays at 3 pm.
Conference tips
At the Green Hotel we have extensive meeting, training and conference experience.
To make planning your conference easier we have put together some simple points to consider:
- Will the participants share or require single rooms?
- Will some participants only stay for the day?
- Will any of the participants or course managers need to arrive before the conference or stay an additional day?
- What type of meeting rooms and furniture do you require?
- How many break-out rooms are needed?
- What technical equipment and support will be needed in the conference room, e.g. DVD, broadband and so on?
- What transport is required to and from the facility? Does anybody require a pick up at the train or bus station?
- Are there any special needs that require extra support?
- Are there any dietary requirements?
- Have you organised thank you gifts for speakers and organisers? We are happy to order a bouquet on your account.
- Do you wish to organise incentives and activities? Consider the amount of time you have and your budget and we will assist you with suggestions.
- How will you pay for the conference? By invoice or will costs be distributed among the participants?
Helpful advice
Do you need help arranging activities and incentives? We can suggest events both at the hotel and outdoors in the fantastic surroundings. Around Lake Siljan there are endless possibilities for interesting excursions.
Something handmade from the village can be a great keepsake and an appreciated gift. We are happy to help with ideas and purchasing.
If possible, please visit us ahead of time so that we can plan the conference together.
There is usually no problem adding a few last-minute participants. If you are uncertain of the number of participants it might be a good idea to book below your anticipated number to avoid any cancellation fees.
